2025 Queen City Classic VIII - MAY 10th

Heavy Metal Barbell is proud to host the 8th Queen City Classic! Join us on May 10th, 2025, at Charlotte Strength for this USA Weightlifting Sanctioned Event that allows athletes to qualify for USAW Nationals Week as Youth, Junior, U25, or Senior Athletes.

Registration Pricing:

$75 Registration is available for the first 30 registrants
$85 Registration is available for the next 30 registrants
$95 Registration is available for the next 30 registrants
$105 Registration is available for our final 30 registrants until 7 days from competition day

Registration Includes: an event t-shirt, a beverage of choice, and items from our event sponsors. Must register no later than 21 Days in advance to guarantee an event shirt.

Individual Awards:

Medals will be awarded to Top 3 Competitors in each Open Weight Category on Total. Medals also awarded to Top 3 Overall Youth and Masters Competitors. Prizes from our partners awarded to Top 3 Overall Competitors on Sinclair.

Event Details:

This event will be capped at 120 registrants. A schedule will be released two weeks prior to the event. It will take place in one day, over 4 sessions, on two platforms. Stage lighting and music will be employed to elevate the competition experience. A $5 admission fee per spectator will be collected at the door. Concessions will be available for sale.
